United States-Cuba Trade Act of 2026

PROPOSED LEGISLATION
A bill introduced in the House of Representatives to lift the trade embargo on Cuba and for other purposes. As introduced, it would repeal or modify the statutory bases of the embargo, including provisions of the Cuban Democracy Act of 1992 and the Cuban Liberty and Democratic Solidarity Act of 1996, extend nondiscriminatory treatment to Cuban products, and remove restrictions on travel and related transactions.
