Cuba redesignated a State Sponsor of Terrorism

The outgoing Trump administration redesignated Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism, with the determination effective January 12, 2021. The designation re-attached the separate sanctions layer of the terrorism-designation regime to Cuba.
